Place an Order

STEP 1. Click on “CREATE AN ORDER”

STEP 2. Completely Enter Customer (ship to) Data.
Note: You can edit all data at any time in the “Order Box” before NOTIFYING SOURCES..

Important Fields: Be sure to include Ship Date and Carrier (truck line) selection.

Use the “Order Notes” bar to express any concerns you want sources to know regarding this particular order or customer.

Check that your information is correct before proceeding to step 3.

Please Note: Only the order data necessary for shipping purposes are displayed to the sources. Pricing, account terms, due dates, & invoice numbers are not included in order detail and are intended for invoicing use.

STEP 3. PLACE YOUR ORDER USING THE ORDER BAR

A. Enter the numerical amount of Items desired in the QTY box (Quantity)

NOTE: Use the tab button to move to the next data field

B. Choose the desired pot size using the drop down menu

C. Next, choose item in the “Description and Notes” box by typing in the first few letters of the item to launch the drop down items menu list. If your item is not listed in the items menu, simply type in your desired item.

D. Next, choose the “source” where you would like to purchase that item from by typing in the first few letters of the source to launch the source menu list. If your source is not listed, please contact support@foliagelink.com and we will add it to the menu list. Data lists are evaluated and updated regularly.

ADD MORE ITEMS by clicking “ADD A ROW” and REPEAT STEP 3

STEP 4. When Order Process is Completed, Click "Finalize Order Creation"

IMPORTANT NOTE: PRESSING FINALIZE ORDER CREATION DOES NOT SEND THE ORDER TO SOURCES. INSTEAD, THE ORDER IS SENT TO YOUR ORDER BOX FOR REVIEW AND OR EDITING. PLEASE REVIEW ORDER BOX INFORMATION BEFORE PROCEEDING

 

Order Box Information & Instruction

The “ORDER BOX” is the “library” where all orders are located. All orders, whether new or archived, reside in the “Order Box”. Once an order is finalized using the “Create an Order Page” it is entered into the “Order Box” library. It is important to always use correct ship dates when placing an order. This ensures proper chronologic organization for future use.

INSTRUCTION:
From the Order Box, highlight the order of interest and click "View Details".

This takes you to the Order Activities Page.

ORDER ACTIVITIES PAGE
Activities that can be performed include:

1. Edit Order items, data or add Items (“Add item” box located at bottom of page)

2. Delete (X) an unwanted or unavailable item * See below

3. Process by Sending to Sources using Button, "Notify Sources".

4. Notify Trucking Company by using "Notify" Button (when complete)

5. “Print Order” Prints order as is to be used as a Purchase Order listing sources but no pricing.

6. “Generate Invoice” Converts purchase order to an invoice

NOTE: WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU ARE COMPLETE IN ADDING, DELETING OR EDITING BEFORE SENDING ORDER TO SOURCES.
You can, however, continue to add items and notify sources later

* DELETE AN UNAVAILABLE ITEM OR UNWANTED ITEM
Locate the black X to the left of the quantity (QTY) box and click. The page will refresh and the item line will be deleted.

PLEASE NOTE: IF SOURCES HAVE ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED PRIOR TO A DELETION, YOUR DELETED ITEM MAY STILL BE SHIPPED AS DELETION AFTER NOTIFYING SOURCES DOES NOT RE-NOTIFY SOURCE OF THE CANCELLATION (AS OF THIS CURRENT PROGRAM VERSION). MANUAL CANCELLATION IS RECOMMENDED.

CONVERT ORDER TO INVOICE. Click on "Generate Invoice" to add pricing, packaging charges, & shipping charges. Print or email when complete by using the "Print Invoice" button.

Manage Account

Use the “manage account” page to enter your user (Company) information data. You can upload your custom business logo or simply use text if a custom logo is not desired.
All documents will automatically display your company information including purchase orders, invoices, email messages, etc. Press the “Update” button when complete or after editing data.

Tip: If your business logo is used, you do not have to enter data in the “Edit Invoice Address” as that data will be displayed on pages as well.

For best results, try different combinations to see what works the best for your company identification. NOTE: Uploaded Logo will resize (compressed) on invoices and purchase orders but may look oversized on the manage account page preview.

To Upload a Logo:
1. Click “Choose File” button. This allows you to select a file from a location on your computer.

2. After the correct file is chosen, click the "Add file" button to install.

 

In the Future: Soon you will be able to access new features coming to Foliagelink.com such as messaging, availability uploads, and ad space. These features will be accessible using the “Manage my Account” page.
